Hotel Alka, Mr. BL Bhandari purchased the land at Fatehsagar Lake and developed a colony by the name of Alkapuri. The land was purchased by Rao Saab of Bedla in 1965. Mr. BL Bhandari dreamt of building a hotel on the shore of the lake. On return of Mr. Pratap Bhandari in 1968 from Mumbai, he joined the operations at Alka Hotel and the first expansion of the hotel was done. His younger son, Mr. Kamal Bhandari was pursuing his CA and also managing the operations and accounts at Hotel Alka. |
